Spec Class – taking it up a notch

posted in: Club News | 0

With the new series due to kick off in just over two weeks time, we’ve made a few changes to the format for the coming Summer Series.

GT’s all the way

This series we will be using the Plan-GT bodies proudly supported by RAB Hobbies. And we’re relaxing the styling a bit to allow for multi-coloured (yet still traditional) race livery.

The club will be supplying the number stickers and RAB Hobbies stickers to ensure some semblance of consistency.

Spec Class Concourse

To add a bit more interest and opportunities for additional bragging rights, we will run a publicly available voting platform for racers to vote on the best looking cars. The car with the most votes at the end of the voting period will receive a Concourse Trophy at the end of the series where 1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies will also be presented.

Spec Class Shoot-Out

Interest in this current series is strong and we are looking to run 2 classes based on demand. The first round in Jan on Sunday the 20th will feature a grading component where your best lap times will determine which group you qualify in!

You don’t want to miss this round!
