Qualifying
You will be offered 5 qualifying rounds over the Saturday and Sunday. The aggregate of the best 4 finishes will determine your overall qualifying position dropping your worst round. After 2 qualifying rounds there will be a re-grade with another regrade after the 4th. If time does NOT permit, organisers reserve the right to drop a qualifying round to ensure the event remains fluid and can run to completion. At the completion of Saturday Qualifying the Track is CLOSED! Strictly NO practice after day’s proceedings close.
Finals
Sunday finals will be an aggregate of 3 best final rounds to determine your finishing position dropping your worst round. Again, organisers reserve the right to reduce the format to ensure we can run to completion.
Scrutineering
After each round completion you will be required to deliver your car to the scrutineering with your Transmitter and then proceed directly to your numbered marshalling point. Anyone not at their marshalling point at the commencement of the next round will have their best time deducted from their overall finishes for qualifying OR finals. The locations are marked clearly with orange witch’s hats and your race starting position will be your marshalling position.
This event even though not sanctioned will be following the RCRA 1/10 on road guidelines. Scrutineering will be checking;
- Car dimensions – eg but not an exhaustive list; body height, wing heights, car weights
- Ensuring you are using your allocated tyres.
- For controlled Blinky Classes there will be RANDOM voltage checks done at the discretion of race control.
- ESC settings may be requested to be checked at end of race where a complaint is lodged
Once your marshalling duties are completed, please collect your cars and return to your pit area. Any one failing scrutineering will need to see race control, NOT the scrutineers. If your car is not at the Scrutineering this means it has failed scrutineering and will be available for collection at race control.
